Stabidrain is a drainage geocomposite comprised of a geospacer surrounded by a certified geotextile which is coated at the bottom with an impermeable resin to form a waterproof channel that serves as a collector.
Stabidrain collects the water that percolates through the geotextile at the top which is then stopped by the impermeable resin at the bottom and conveyed longitudinally to an appropriate discharge point.
Stabidrain is an EDRC, or Roadside Drainage Screen, and is used to protect roads. It can also be used to collect water seeping through tunnel walls. Its main applications are: road shoulder, culvert and gutter drainage, tunnel drainage, etc.

  • Much greater flow capacity than conventional solutions using aggregates
  • Barrier that completely halts sideways water migration
  • Hydraulic continuity is assured where two rolls are joined together
  • Excavated site material can be used to backfill the trench
  • Only needs a narrow trench when installed
  • Saves on perforated pipes
  • Fast, easy installation without special tools
  • Economical solution compared to those requiring aggregates, both in monetary and installation time terms
  • Chemically inert

Stabidrain can also be used for the following applications
