Gas Band

Gas Strips are drainage geocomposites consisting of a thermoformed HDPE honeycomb core combined with a geotextile on one side and folded over at both ends to the opposite side, thus preventing the intrusion of particles.

Gas Strips are the preferred route for gases to migrate from beneath the geomembrane to the atmosphere. Thanks to their high compressive strength, they are specifically designed to ensure long-term gas transport.
