Application

Solpac vertical drains are geocomposite drains made up of two complementary elements: a central HDPE honeycomb structure, coated with a polypropylene geotextile filter. The combination of these two components makes SOLPAC a safe, high-performance drain. These vertical drains meet the standard dimensions of installation machines. They are used to consolidate soil for various types of civil engineering structures : platforms, freeways, railroad lines, etc.

Assets

  • Oversized crush resistance, combined with high discharge capacity, ensures high drainage rates during the pre-loading phase
  • High-laying speed thanks to the flexibility of the core, which is adapted to the laying material, and its good longitudinal stability in the ground when driven.
  • Deformation without pinching due to soil compaction, hydraulic continuity of drain remains intact throughout consolidation phase
  • Ensuring the durability of the drainage system during the consolidation phase
  • Resistance to the main chemical agents present in the soil
