The ELIOT marker is designed to detect and geolocate buried structures.
It can also be used to store personalized information.
It consists of a passive RFID transponder protected by a rigid polymer case.
The case is waterproof, highly resistant to compression and shock. It is attached to the buried structure by two adhesive strips on the underside of the case.
The surface of the lower part is specially designed to be fixed to any curved or flat surface.
