Protection Drainage

Protection Drainage is a geocomposite consisting of a thermoformed, honeycombed and symmetrical high-density polyethylene (HDPE) geospacer combined with a non-woven polypropylene filter geotextile. Its functions are as follows:

• protect coatings or waterproofing layers from mechanical damage, particularly during backfilling,
• maintain an air gap along the buried walls, allowing water absorbed by the foundations to evaporate (rising by capillary action),
• insulate the buried wall from damp soil with an impermeable structure,
• stop and evacuate seepage or groundwater.
