Application

The RADPOL PIPES pre-insulated shut-off valve is a tubular assembly used to isolate a section of piping in an underground heating or cooling network. It consists of a steel ball valve, insulated with rigid polyurethane foam (PUR) and protected on the outside by a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) jacket.

The valve operating rod is itself insulated and protected by an additional sleeve, which passes through the upper cap of the pre-insulated assembly and allows the valve to be operated from the surface without exposing the pipe.
