Stripdrain is a drainage geocomposite consisting of a geospacer surrounded by a geotextile. It is generally installed on the edge of a roadway to prevent water migrating from the shoulder (or pavement) by creating a barrier that is both watertight and draining. Byeliminating or attenuating excess water, it helps to improve the mechanical performance of the pavement structure by improving its water status.
Generally used for roadside drainage, Stripdrain can also be used for drainage of canals and scuppers, tunnel drainage, shotcrete walls and other special applications.
