TEC4 GAZ wrapped gas pipes are black PE100 high-density polyethylene pipes with yellow marking strips. The geotextile (yellow color) gives the pipe mechanical protection against punching by aggressive (sharp) materials. This means that the pipes can be laid without the need for sand embedding, and encourages the reuse of site materials. As an option, a tracer wire can be inserted between the tube and the geotextile wrapping to facilitate detection and location of the tube.
TEC4 GAZ gas-wrapped pipes are used in natural gas distribution networks, purified biogas collection networks, hydrogen networks and supply connections.
