Application

Terra Extrem RT is a PERT high-temperature geothermal probe with electro-weldable connection system designed to capture heat from the ground or recharge the ground up to a maximum temperature of 70°C under 7 bars.

Terra Extrem PERT sensors are made from special polymer resins called Temperature Resistant Polyethylene. This material's ability to withstand high temperatures makes it ideal for two applications:

  • capturing heat from the ground and redistributing it to the building via a thermodynamic system (heat pump) to cool or heat the premises or home.
  • ability to recharge thermally depleted soil up to a maximum temperature of 70°C. This distinguishes this probe from a traditional HDPE probe.

Assets

  • PERT sensor (temperature resistance)
  • 2-pipe ø32 flow and 2-pipe ø32 return
  • Probe foot with double decanter to ensure long-term probe operation
  • Toolless mounting of the probe foot by clipping on the shield
  • Noryl (glass-fiber-reinforced polyester) protective shield, impact- and scratch-resistant
  • Metric marking from the foot of the probe (marked zero) to check that there is no blockage
  • Traceability: each probe is identified by a serial number
  • Comprehensive range of accessories: manholes, heat transfer fluid, injection tube, spacer, grout, etc.

Features

DN 32×3 probe: lengths manufactured from 60 to 150 m (other lengths on request)
External collector: (placed in a manhole) or internal.
Accessory: Y-connector to manage collector outlets and reduce the number of connections to the collector.
Vertical probes: 2 outlets - 2 returns, 60 to 150 m deep. Probes held in place by spacers every 2 m and sealed in the geothermal grout.
Connection to a heat pump (PAC)
