Anchored retaining walls are often associated with ground stabilisation and our innovative procedure is mainly aimed at reinforcing or consolidating the adjacent ground and making the work permanent. With this type of reinforcement work that combines concrete and welded mesh with a drainage system, our Isocor drainage membranes can be laid directly on top of the embankment.
The flow capacity must be calculated accurately to ensure the durability of the work. The concrete can be projected directly onto the side with the cells after the side with the geotextile covering has been installed on the ground or embankment to create drainage and thereby reduce hydrodynamic thrust. A drainage system recovers and evacuates the water that has infiltrated the embankment from the bottom.
