Piping identification

The RFID Eliot technology is simple and intuitive to use and enables networks that are located up to 2.50 m beneath the surface to be located to within an impressive one centimetre in the X,Y and Z planes. The system provides the means to characterise the underground pipework in fine detail, including such information as the type of piping, what it is used for, the date it was installed, the serial number and the diameter.
The RFID Eliot technology is effective in different types of ground including tarmac, sand, earth, stony ground and dry and wet soil, and aqueous environments such as the water table, and is compatible with all types of material (cast iron, concrete, HDPE, etc.) and network use (water, gas, electricity, telecommunications, etc.). It allows buried networks to be georefenced without excavation when coupled with readings from a differential GPS device.
