Water is a precious and rare resource. 1,300 million litres of drinking water are lost through leakage every year in France alone, enough to fill 430,000 Olympic swimming pools.
PE100 is made of polyethylene which protects this vital resource. PE100 water networks are rendered perfectly watertight by doing away with sealed joints and thereby greatly improving network yield. Thanks to their great flexibility, HDPE pipes can fully accommodate ground movements without deforming or rupturing, allowing them to compensate for them throughout their lifetime without causing leaks to appear.
