Retaining wall drainage

Retaining walls are vertical walls with a small footprint that hold back the earth behind them, most commonly to protect roads from nearby embankment shearing and landslips. A lack of drainage or inadequate dimensioning often results in failure in these types of construction as the hydrostatic loads exert additional thrust to that exerted by the adjacent earth alone.

Isocor drainage geocomposites are ideally suited to this type of application and will reliably evacuate the seepage water while limiting the thrust exerted.
