Terra Extrem vertical probes are designed to recover heat from the ground. A monopropylene glycol-based coolant recovers the heat energy from the ground via the probe, which is then converted by a heat pump using glycolated water or water on its own to heat or cool homes and business premises through underfloor heating, radiators or fan-assisted convection heaters, and produce hot water or even heat swimming pools.
