The Elydan Group announces the acquisition of Radpol Pipes, a Polish manufacturer specializing in pre-insulated piping systems for heating and cooling networks. This transaction, announced on September 17, 2026, complements the Group’s product portfolio and marks a new stage in its European expansion: more than 250 million euros in revenue and approximately 700 employees across 7 countries.
Through this acquisition, Elydan is combining Radpol Pipes’ pre-insulated steel pipe technologies with its expertise in flexible polymer solutions. The goal is to offer its customers a comprehensive range of solutions—from energy production to the connected building—to accelerate the decarbonization of energy infrastructure in Europe.
Radpol Pipes is a Polish manufacturer based in Lublin that has been producing piping systems for heating and cooling networks, as well as for water, wastewater, and gas transmission, for over 30 years. The company employs more than 200 people and serves more than 1,000 customers in over 30 markets.
Radpol Pipes positions itself as a key partner in the energy transition: reducing emissions, minimizing heat loss, and conserving resources.
A sustainable approach integrated into every stage
At Radpol Pipes, sustainability is a principle integrated into every stage of our operations, from material selection to manufacturing.
Materials with a reduced environmental footprint: an outer jacket made of recycled HDPE and raw materials from certified sources, to limit the use of virgin plastic without compromising durability.
Energy efficiency: pre-insulated pipes designed to minimize heat loss, thereby reducing emissions and network operating costs.
Well-managed manufacturing processes: waste reduction, water and energy optimization, and facilities operated in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard.
Knowledge Transfer: Radpol Pipes offers training and tools for professionals on network design and installation methods.
Quality is a priority at every stage: design, selection of raw materials and suppliers, production, testing, and delivery. The production facility operates a management system that complies with the EN ISO 9001 (quality), EN ISO 14001 (environment), and EN ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety) standards.
Radpol Pipes offers three families of solutions, complemented by consulting and project support.
Product Line | For which networks | Key Points |
Pre-insulated systems | Heating and Cooling Networks | Steel pipes from DN 20 to DN 1000, PN-EN 253 standard; available in single-pipe and double-pipe versions |
PE-HD 100 RC Systems | Gas, Drinking Water, Sewerage | RC MULTIsafe® and RC MAXIprotect® multilayer pipes, ranging from 25 to 1,000 mm depending on the application |
Custom Industrial Solutions | Steam and Process Fluids | Dual insulation (aerogel/pyrogel + PUR/PIR foam), heating cables, leak detection |
Three proprietary technologies set us apart in the district heating market:
Radpol Pipes' product line covers five major markets, ranging from district heating systems to wastewater treatment.
Market | Solutions | Key Takeaways |
Single- and double-tube pre-insulated pipes, EVOprotect®, GreenID®, UVprotect Color® | DN 20 to DN 1000; transmission lines, local networks, and connections
Pre-insulated systems for steam and process fluids | High temperatures and pressures; petroleum products, chemicals, industrial water, steam, food-grade liquids
RC MULTIsafe® 1L/2L/3L, RC MAXIprotect® PP/HDPE | DN 25 to DN 630; compliant with PAS 1075; service life of more than 100 years
RC MULTIsafe®, RC MAXIprotect® | 25 to 1,000 mm; complies with PAS 1075; service life of more than 100 years
RC MULTIsafe®, RC MAXIprotect® | 25 to 1,000 mm; complies with PAS 1075; long-lasting waterproofing, even in difficult soil conditions |
Heating and Cooling, the core of our offering. District heating networks are a key driver of the energy transition in local communities: they enable the distribution of local, carbon-free energy sources (renewables, industrial waste heat) and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. Radpol Pipes’ pre-insulated systems are designed to minimize heat loss and CO₂ per kilometer of pipeline installed.
Industry, demanding fluids. Steam, condensate, chemicals, oils, or food-grade liquids: custom-designed systems incorporate heating cables to maintain a stable temperature over long distances and leak detection to monitor pipeline integrity.
Water, Sewer, Gas : PE-HD 100 RC. These multilayer pipes are resistant to point loads and crack propagation. They are suitable for installation without a sand bed and for trenchless techniques, which speeds up and simplifies construction projects. The RC MAXIprotect® version adds a protective jacket and a detection tape to locate the pipeline route.
How the Acquisition Changes Things
The two companies complement each other. Radpol Pipes provides rigid, pre-insulated steel solutions designed for primary networks exposed to high temperatures and pressures. Elydan provides—notably through its Terrendis product line—flexible, pre-insulated systems made of polymerpolymer, suitable for secondary networks and connections. Together, they provide end-to-end coverage for heating and cooling networks, from energy production to the connected building.
For customers, this means:
The offering will first be made available in France, and then gradually in the various European markets where the Elydan Group operates.
Radpol Pipes will retain its brand, its Polish production facility, its teams, and its local management, led by Jarosław Żuchowski. The company is joining Elydan’s Infrastructure & Networks Business Unit. The transaction is part of the Group’s Momentum 2030 strategy and is being carried out with the support of its long-standing investors: Bpifrance, Crédit Mutuel Equity, Siparex Territoires, and IXO Private Equity.
For a general contractor, Radpol Pipes’ arrival in the Group has five concrete implications.
With Radpol Pipes, Elydan is strengthening its position in a market driven by decarbonization and Europe’s energy independence. For local governments, network operators, manufacturers, and installers, this means a broader, more transparent, and better-supported offering to build the heating, cooling, gas, and water networks of the future.
