Eliot is a patented solution based on RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology.
Its operating principle is simple and effective: RFID chips containing all the information operators need are integrated into the Eliot markers which are placed on top of buried infrastructure. A scanner can then instantly locate and identify all buried pipework from the surface.
RFID technology is especially suitable for Geothermal applications.
Eliot is a simple yet smart solution that can eliminate the need to excavate buried networks, manifolds or drill heads. Eliot markers provide precise localisation in 3 planes up to a depth of 1.5 m – even under challenging conditions – with accuracy levels down to the centimetre.
