HEAT NETWORKS

A heat network is a thermal energy distribution system that transports the heat produced in one or more production facilities to different buildings or infrastructures, often located in an urban or industrial area. This heat is then transported via a network of insulated pipes to be used for space heating, domestic hot water production or industrial processes. Heat networks optimize energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by pooling heat sources and exploiting renewable or recovered energies.

Optical fiber (FTTB networks)

Fiber optic cables need to be protected, accessible and laid over long lengths to limit the number of connections. Polyethylene protection jackets provide flexibility and robustness, enabling installation on all types of terrain, and over very long lengths. Polyethylene's low coefficient of friction means that fiber optic cables can be laid or removed over lengths of more than 2000m.

Network protection

Protective sleeves, sheaths and TPCs are used to protect buried cables and pipes. A wide range of polyethylene protection sheaths is available for all types of electrical, gas, water, telecom and home automation networks.

Our color-banded protective sleeves (also known as Janolene) provide extra protection for buried pipes and ducts against impact and crushing.

TPC sheaths and corrugated sleeves (also known as Janolene) feature a double-wall construction: a smooth inner surface (for easy cable or pipe pulling) and a corrugated outer profile (for rigidity and mechanical strength). TPC's coefficient of friction improves cable pulling.
